Kayaks are quiet and unobtrusive, affording some unique opportunities for up-close encounters with Florida's diverse wildlife.  Wading and shore birds abound in the mangroves, alligators are common in many areas, birds of pray including bald eagles and osprey are regularly observed.  Occasionally we encounter a curious manatee.
