Scouring the World Wide Web for
Fly Fishing's Best Web Pages:

We Searched for the Most Informative, the Most Entertaining, and the Most Visual Appealing

This Is What Caught Our Eye

the week of February 15, 2009

  • Loop Fly Tackle, the international web site, visually stimulating as well as informative.

  • CAPTAIN PAUL FISICARO - Florida Keys Fly Fishing Guide.  I don't know Capt. Paul from Adam, I do know that for a fly fishing guide, he has put together an outstanding website.  If you are into fly tying, he has both excellent still images and videos of step by step fly tying techniques.

  • Global Flyfisher - Fly Fishing and Fly Tying from a Northern European prospective.  It's been around for some time now, but still worth a look.

  • This Is Fly - A rather unique "Flash" magazine with a look at fly fishing from a edgy urban perspective, you'll either love it or hate it.  One thing is for sure, it's not fly fishing from Isaac Walton's world.

  • Catch Magazine: Modern day icons of fly fishing photography have teamed up to produce an on-line magazine who's visual impact is nothing short of spectacular.  This is only their third issue, I wish them every measure of success in this venture.  This is a glimpse of the future for on-line fly fishing media entertainment.
